We’ve got
experience when it comes to music for weddings….
Organising a wedding is time consuming and loads of effort goes into getting exactly what you want on the day. Over the last few years, we've provided the music for an increasing number of newlyweds and their guests, so we understand what you’re likely to need from a DJ."
Here’s what we can
offer:
• A confirmation
letter on booking – our written guarantee of what we’ll
do, when, for how long and at what price
• A face to face meeting in the comfort of your own
home about a fortnight before the big day, to nail down the
finer details of what you need
• Flexible start and finish times
• A flexible set-up time
• A professionally attired DJ
• Background music during dinner
• A cordless microphone for speeches
• Suggestions for your “first waltz” or
wedding dance
• A comprehensive music selection
• A “crowd-reading” DJ who can identify
when a change in pace is needed and make it happen
• Professional lighting effects for when the lights
go down and people are ready to party
• A professional sound system that can be enhanced for
large venues and minimised for smaller ones
There’s something
unique about every wedding we’ve done whether it’s
working alongside bands or quartets through to various celebratory
traditions of different cultures. For example we’ve
recently supported a Cook Island performance group, the haggis
ceremony from a traditional Scottish wedding and a traditional
Cambodian wedding dance, as part of wedding celebrations.
We can incorporate your
special requirements as long as you give us the notice –
the earlier the better.
We’re expert at pleasing
a crowd….
When the dance floor’s
packed at your wedding function - your guests are happy, you
– their host – are happy, and ultimately I’m
happy. In our substantial experience, most wedding functions
are attended by people of all ages and it’s our job
to try and cater to everyone’s music tastes. Generally
speaking, we’d recommend a good mix of modern and older
music for weddings - rather than sticking to a certain era
or type of music. This may mean we have to be selective about
the requests we get on the night, especially if it’s
for music that wouldn’t go down well. Of course, this
doesn’t mean we can’t alter the mix for functions
where the crowd isn’t of all ages, and we won’t
put any set restrictions on what you want to hear –
you’re the customer and the final word is yours.
